Banana Cake


125 gr butter

1.4 cups sugar

3/4 cup milk

1 teasp bicarb

1 cup chopped pecans (about 100 gr)

2 cups flour

1 cup mashed banana (about 4 bananas)

1 teasp baking powder

2 eggs

1 teasp vanilla essence


  1. Cream butter.  Add usgar and eggs, then bananas, pecans, and vanilla essence.
  2. Sift dry ingredients and add alternatively with milk.
  3. Bake in two well-greased and floured loaf tins, about 35-40 minutes.
