English Cake


3 eggs

1 cup milk

150 gr butter

2.5 cups Self Raising flour

1.5 cups sugar

coarsely chopped walnuts

raisins, cranberries


Cover fruit and nuts with some of the flour to prevent them sinking to bottom of cake.

Mix all ingredients, adding flour and fruit last.

Bake in two small loaf tins, about 45 minutes.
