Cynthia and Edie’s Wholewheat Scones


2 cups whole wheat flour

2 Tablespoons wheat germ

2 heaped teaspoons baking powder

4 level Tablespoons sticky brown sugar

2 Tablespoons sesame seeds

2 Tablespoons bran

1 cup milk

45 gr melted butter

2 Tablespoons raisins

2 Tablespoons sunflower seeds


  1. Mix all dry ingredients.
  2. Melt butter and bet in egg and milk (very soft mixture).
  3. Place in greased muffin tins, and bake in hottish oven (slightly hotter than for cakes) about 15-20 minutes.
