Lachoch

Ingredients:

1.5 cups flour

30 gr yeast

1 Tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

about 3 cups lukewarm water

Method:

  1. In mixer – mix flour, sugar, yeast and salt.  Gradually add water, and mix to smooth, liquidy mixture.
  2. Cover and leave to rise – at least 1-1.5 hours.  The longer, the more sour the flaver (maximum 6 hours!)
  3. Very slightly oil Teflon frying pan.  Mix and ladle mixture into cold pan.
  4. Place over high flame and fry till small holes form.  Cover and fry further 3-4 mintues, till bottom golden-brown.
  5. Slide onto plate, and cool pan by dipping bottom in water.  Then continue frying remainder of mixture.
