Aharoni’s Lemon Chicken

Ingredients:

1 medium onion

500 gr chicken breasts

1 unblemished lemon

Sauce:

1.5 cups clear soup

juice of 2 lemons

6 Tablespoons sugar

2 Tablespoons soy sauce

Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients:

2 schnitzels

1/3 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

2 slices Mozarella cheese

1 Tablespoon parmesan

1 cup spaghetti sauce

Method: Coat chicken with breadcrumbs and parmesan. Place in glass micro-waveable dish, and cover. Microwave on HIGH for 7 minutes. Remove from oven, pour over spaghetti sauce, and top with mozarella. Microwave another 3-4 minutes.

Mom's Sweet and Sour Schnitzel

Ingredients:

Schnitzel

breadcrumbs

paprika

Marinade:

salt and pepper

lots of fresh lemon juice

garlic

bay leaves

oil

Method: Dip each piece of schnitzel in breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, and place in pyrex or baking dish. Bake in oven till brown.

Auntie Myra’s Tomato Bredie

Ingredients:

meat or chicken

sliced onions

tomato puree

little sugar

potatoes

salt, pepper

Method: Brown onions in little oil. Add seasoned meat and little water. Continue cooking, stirring, and adding water if necessary. Add tomato puree and little sugar. Add potatoes, and cook till potatoes soft.
